| THE CPR MISSION:We train church leaders to build up the Body of Christ. |
| |
THE CPR PHILOSOPHY OF MINISTRY draws on the "ancient–future" vision of the church described in Ephesians 4:11-16. The church is not an organization, but the living Body of Christ gifted by the Spirit and led by pastors and teachers whose job it is to equip God's people.
God's people do his work and build up the church. The church is intentional about providing ongoing opportunities for spiritual growth. Faith is deepened and strengthened resulting in transformed lives.
This church creates a permission–giving attitude around ministry that frees and encourages people to use their spiritual gifts. Each part of the body, doing what it was designed to do best, not only reduces volunteer burnout, but actually helps the rest of the body grow.
The end result is that the entire body is healthy, growing and full of love. This scriptural three-fold test becomes the standard against which we measure our churches. God expects and wants his church to be healthy, growing and full of love. |
